Reminder on Asset Declaration.


This is for general information to all the staff in the Ministry of Economic Affairs that as per the Chapter VI: Penalty for Breach of the Asset Declaration Rules 2012, grace period of a month (till the end of April 2014) has been given to declare asset. If a covered person fails to declare within the grace period without reasonable justification, he or she shall be levied a fine equivalent to one year's daily minimum national wage.

Business Advocacy Workshop, RTIO, Mongar


The Department of Cottage and Small Industry (DCSI) in collaboration with the Regional Trade and Industry office, Mongar had conducted two days “Business Advocacy Workshop” at three different places viz. Workshop on Corporate Compliance has been postponed to June

Inspection at Kanglung under Trashigang Dzongkhag


RTIO, Mongar carried out surprise inspection on 18/3/2014 around 6:00pm at Kanglung regarding the selling of alcohol and related products without licenses. After receiving many complaints from various persons and agencies, RTIO, Mongar in coordination with Royal Bhutan Police, Trashigang and Kanglung Geog Administration carried out thorough inspection.
