Workshop on Brand Bhutan Implementation Plan
The Department of Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs organized a two-day workshop on Brand Bhutan implementation plan from 26-27 June 2017 at Paro. The workshop was organized as part of a capacity building activity in preparation for implementation of Brand Bhutan which was launched by His Excellency Lyonchen Tshering Tobgay on 1st February 2016 in Thimphu.
The main objective of the workshop was to help officials of the Department of Trade and other relevant agencies and organizations to gain more knowledge and better understand the procedural and practical aspects of brand implementation and related issues. It was also intended to provide a platform to discuss and seek guidance and prepare for smooth and successful implementation of Brand Bhutan.
The Brand Bhutan initiative is part of export development strategy initiated by the Department of Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
